since it lacks nanoloop's defining 4x4 structure, naive tracker is not named nanoloop, although it shares the general design principles and some functions of the original nanoloop versions.
what about the nanoloop app?
the nanoloop app will soon be updated to a similar UI in 4x4 format with functionality that complements naive tracker.
can it play .mod or other tracker formats?
naive tracker only implements a subset of traditional tracker features (16 step pattern length, no sub-patterns or phrases, 8 samples etc) but also introduces new functions that are not part of these formats. hence it can only handle its own .nve format.
